Educational app as the name explains is the app that focuses on teaching and educating people, with the help of technology (Walling, 2014). Different devises are used for this application such as smart phones, computers, iPad, etc. (Mehdipour, and Zerehkafi, 2013). Literature Review Education helps in increasing knowledge, skill development and learning. An educational app should be of good quality as it is an essential feature in the developing area of teaching and education that provides good value to the leaners educational practice. The educational app market involve high competition, many educational apps are available to the user. To stand out, it is important for the app to present good value and quality to their users. Importance of Educational app Educational app should provide supportive and powerful database. All the related information should be available at one place, with all the time to time updates (Walling, D. R. 2014). Database will make the learning smooth, that student will get in just single click (Yelland, 2015). Content which is available should be useful and complete, information which is been provided should be written in easy language so that reader can understand properly (Yelland, 2015). Another importance of educational app is sessions should be interactive with live tutorials, as it help students to understand easily and problems can be resolved. It provides similar atmosphere as of classroom. Live tutorial can add a chat and feedback option through which improvements can be done by particular educational app. Further, educational app can offer students practice and mock test for different subjects that can provide an idea to students about their preparation for exams. App should look attractive and should be user friendly as well as need of the client should not be ignored (Poritz and Rees. 2016). Good and effective social media platform should be used. Another important feature that should be available into the educational app is that student should not face any problem while login the profile (Poritz and Rees. 2016). Benefits of Educational app Educational app encourage entertainment, as these apps teach students by converting lessons into games, that increases the interest of student and they do not get bore (Murphy, et al. 2017). These app make use of videos, images, graphs, live to teach student in innovative way. Educational apps promote interactive teaching that help student to resolve their problems and doubts. Through these apps students stay connected with teachers that helps in improving their skills. Parents can track their children progress and they can know how these apps are helping their students in developing their skills. These apps make time to time updates in their programming according to the change in course, timetable, etc. Educational apps not only help students but they also help teachers in preparing teaching material and they can also use these apps in classrooms. Nowadays, mobile phones are used by everyone, by which student can access these apps anytime and anywhere (Murphy, et al. 2017). Educatio nal app helps in systematic learning. Research purpose and Research question RQ: What is Educational app and how much it is useful for students and teachers? The aim of the research was to know about the Educational app, its benefits and importance. Research also explains the uses of educational app for students and teachers. Design of the survey In this research data was collected by using survey monkey, which is an online survey instrument. Research involves 5 questions, which include yes or no questions, ranking questions and comment box. Qualitative and quantitative method were used into the research for collecting the data. Question asked the participant to mention weather they are student or teacher, they use educational app or not, reason for not using the app and if they use it then identify its usefulness into percentage and educational app is better than traditional learning. Research results Out of 50 participants, 2-3 did not answered question properly and 90% of the participants responded positively. 50% of the participants use educational app. This research include both primary and secondary data. Participants were categorized into two groups i.e. student and teacher. In question 2, they were asked about whether they use educational app or not, out of total participants 50% participants make use of educational app. In question 3, participants were asked to give reason if they do not use educational app. 50% of participants prefer traditional learning as they are not comfortable with technology (Dickens, and Churches, 2012). In question 4, participants have to provide the percentage of usefulness of educational app, many of the participants chosen 75%-89%. Question 5 includes whether educational app is better than traditional learning or not, 50% of participants answered it yes, it is better (Kucirkova, 2015). Discussion Research results shows that people who are not using educational app for learning, they do not feel comfortable with technology, they prefer traditional learning. 50% of participants responded positively, as they feel educational app provide all the information at one place, anytime and anywhere (Pablos, and Patricia. 2014). It has been believed that educational apps will become popular in upcoming time as people are becoming more dependent on technology (Bacca, et al. 2014). Students learn by seeing videos and images that can help them in taking snapshots and can make notes of it and money can be saved. Educational app teaches in different languages for this different translators apps are available. Educational learning focuses on self- learning and helps in learning outside the classroom (Bacca, et al. 2014). Conclusion Conclusion of the research can be done by saying that educational app is the new trend into the market, which is followed by many people and in upcoming future people will prefer educational app rather than traditional learning. Educational apps leads to skill development and learning with the help of technology. These apps provide all the information at one place, with time to time updates. Educational app help teachers to plan their teaching materials and timetables. Parents can also check the progress of their children. These apps convert lessons into games, which makes learning easy and entertaining. It is an interactive way of learning through which problems of students also gets solved. Educational app promotes systematic learning, as it makes the flow of learning smooth. In the end it can be said that educational apps are very useful for this awareness campaigns and training programs should be organized to educate people.
